Our Programs
Outdoor Classroom


Nature Explorers
Our Nature Explorers program is designed to help students explore the natural world around them. Through hands-on activities, students will learn about local flora and fauna, ecosystems, and environmental sustainability. Our experienced instructors will guide students on nature walks and teach them outdoor skills such as identifying plants and animals, orienteering, and camping.
Indigenous Wisdom
Our Indigenous Wisdom program is rooted in the First Peoples Principles of Learning and the rich history and culture of the Indigenous peoples of Canada. Through storytelling, traditional crafts, and guided discussions, students will learn about Indigenous languages, art, history, and contemporary issues. Our goal is to foster understanding, respect, and reconciliation.
Outdoor Sports
Our Outdoor Sports program offers a fun and active way for students to stay healthy and develop physical literacy. Students will learn a variety of outdoor sports such as soccer, frisbee, and flag football. They will also learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills.



Gardening Club
Our Gardening Club program teaches students the skills and knowledge needed to grow their own food and create beautiful outdoor spaces. Students will learn about soil health, plant biology, and sustainable gardening practices. They will also have the opportunity to design and build their own garden beds and learn how to cook with fresh produce.
Science Explorers
Our Science Explorers program is designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love of science in students. Through hands-on experiments, students will learn about the scientific method, chemistry, physics, and biology. They will also learn how to observe, question, and communicate their findings.
Arts and Crafts
Our Arts and Crafts program encourages students to express themselves creatively and develop their artistic skills. They will learn a variety of techniques such as drawing, painting, and sculpture. They will also have the opportunity to work with different materials such as clay, wood, and fabric.



Leadership Development
Our Leadership Development program is designed to help students develop the skills and qualities needed to become effective leaders and responsible citizens. Through activities such as team-building, public speaking, and community service, students will learn about leadership styles, goal-setting, and decision-making.
Outdoor Adventure
Our Outdoor Adventure program offers students the opportunity to challenge themselves and develop their physical and mental resilience. They will learn outdoor skills such as camping, hiking, and canoeing. They will also learn how to assess and manage risks, and how to work effectively in a team.
Language Arts
Our Language Arts program is aligned with the BC K-8 Language Arts curriculum and is designed to help students develop their reading, writing, and communication skills. We use a variety of engaging and age-appropriate texts and activities to help students become confident and competent users of the English language.
